This beautiful cotton fabric was originally created for the renowned Yokozuna sumo wrestler, Takanohana. You can truly feel the exceptional quality of the cotton, woven for someone of such stature. Although the fabric was never sewn or worn, it has been carefully preserved for many years.

Using this rare fabric is a true privilege. It connects me to treasured memories of my youth in Japan, and I never imagined that one day I would be able to transform it into something so special for the next generation.

Each pair of dungarees carries not only beautiful craftsmanship but also a small piece of Japanese history and my own story.
