Greetings! I'm Kaya, a mother of two delightful children, and our home is nestled in the heart of central London, Kings Cross. My journey into the world of sewing began just a few months after the arrival of my first child. Driven by a desire to dress her in garments adorned with the captivating beauty of African Wax fabrics, I embarked on a creative venture that has since become a cherished part of my life.
From the early days when my kids were tiny bundles peacefully sleeping in baby carriers, I've been crafting with care and love in my home studio. This project has evolved alongside my family, drawing inspiration from the warmth of friends, the smiles of customers and their little ones, the camaraderie of neighbors, the vibrant markets we've been a part of, the greenery of plant pots on our balcony, and the infectious positivity that surrounds us.
In this creative haven, I am joined by two fellow moms whose talents shine through in their crafting of exceptional items such as hats, mascots, buntings, and more, all ingeniously fashioned from fabric off-cuts.
