It’s always overwhelming the night before the market and see the bunch of happy looking creations..!
These are done after the sleepless nights and hard working days, a supportive family and a team work with my partner and kids, useful comments by customers and friends, shops selling gorgeous fabrics and factories producing them. I hope the impact on this planet was minimal and know it’s still not the perfect, but I think it’s important to try and learn, acknowledge the process of moving forward towards the perfection.
Hope to see you there!
Thrilled to announce that we will be at @boulevard_mrkt , a new market just started 2weeks ago off upper street in Islington, with gorgeous stores and location!
I’m so excited about this 😊 and promising another super busy weekend of making more stock! 🧵 Sew, sew, sew...!

I most enjoyed working on the layout, how the pictures would come out. I put extra time on that as I loved these rare fabrics. Fun works!
So delighted to have had a stall at the Canopy Market in Kings Cross, Coal Drops Yard! I enjoyed the summer bank holiday weekend with amazing and friendly teams and neighbors, people stopping by, talking to me and buying my products, sharing ideas, friends stopping to say hi, many of them giving compliments which charged up my confidence and courage to carry on. It was such an achievement and success! Can’t thank enough to everyone who supported me and been engaged in my store!
Hope to be back there soon again!

Thank you for lovely people who stopped by at our stall last week! We had an amazing experience of meeting so many cool and nice people, both with and without kids! I actually wanted to take photos of everyone who stopped and chatted me there as you all looked incredibly good looking, well dressed, creative mind, etc…! We’ll come back there in a middle of December again and days are TBA. In a mean time, you can shop at this website and I’ll upload some new items. xx
Very excited to announce that AMAMAMA is holding a stall at The Old Spitalfields Market for 2 weeks from the 21st November! It’s an historial East London’s original market with many other cool traders.
We will be there on Wednesdays and Fridays, so why don’t you pop in to say hi!
Apart from our online shop, AMAMAMA also participates in the Nurture Collective! Miriam from NC found us from the very beginning of our journey and added us to her collective of small independent kids clothing brands who care about their concept, material and what matters.
Please check it out and meet other lovely mama makers and non-mama makers!
Celebrating and participating by wearing African Waxed Fabric to Black History Month! Black History Month originated in the United States as a celebration of African-American achievement. It has been celebrated in the UK since 1980’s.
AMAMAMA loves their beautiful culture and respects the long history of fighting to keep it so authentic in other part of the world!
Our website is finally ready to go! I have started making dungarees about 2 years ago just after my daughter’s birth. Originally I wanted to make her own clothes only as I wasn’t very keen on kids clothes at main market. But as I took her to a walk on streets, events and activities, parties and festivals, we got so much compliments from other parents that made me encouraged to start a kids clothing brand.
Came to this point so far, I’d like to thank for my family, friends, husband and daughter, other mama friends, Miriam from Nurture Collective who saw us on a street and added us to her collective when we were just about starting…!
Best wishes,
AMAMAMA
